So a user by the name of “Sylar” on the narutofan.com forums apparently thought it would be “cool” to hotlink directly to a 1Mb animated GIF on toadking.com. Normally, I would let it slide, but that file was 1Mb in size, and was getting 10000+ views, which ads up to over 10Gb of bandwidth a week. So what if I have over two terabytes of bandwidth from my host? This “Sylar” needed to be taught a lesson.

I thought about Goatse-ing him, but that seemed too boring and unoriginal. As of now, I decided on a 65535×65535 GIF image to replace the one he was linking to. I plan on replacing that with something more offensive later on.

The moral of this post; don’t leech of me.
