I would only condone a Goatse if the guy was a punk about it. But it's a fun idea. ImageShack is cool but it's gotten unstable with me. I've been using PhotoBucket. It's not as fast but it remembers my pictures, so I don't have to keep a list of links or anything. And you can email them pictures if uploading acts up. Not spamming for them but that's what works for me. I came to your image directory first, the 6x9=42 thing. I found it looking for a Firefox extension. Maybe you could write a small script that lets the visitor "get code", which links to the transload feature on ImageShack somehow, gives them ImageShack links. If it were possible, I don't know.
